Every summer, Landmark College offers Summer Terms to help students maintain the learning momentum they established during the traditional semester and to give students a chance to earn credits toward graduation.
When you participate in Summer Term, you can:
- Enroll in one or two academic courses
- Focus on fewer courses for a shorter period of time
- Graduate sooner or get back on track
- Save some money
We are excited to offer multiple ways for students to continue to participate in the Landmark College experience.
We will be offering our 5-week Summer I session and Summer II session both in person on our residential campus as well as online. In addition, we are offering online courses during our Summer 10-week online session.
Current LC students should contact their academic advisor to help with selecting summer courses. Registration for summer courses opens April 18, 2024.
Internships
Landmark College offers matriculated students the opportunity to earn internship credits both locally and from home during the summer.
Students should follow the guidelines for submitting a proposal for a credit-bearing internship, but should always meet with the team in Career Connections first to initiate the process.
Academic internships also require enrollment in an online internship course designed to support the student’s learning and internship experience. Proposals for summer and fall internships are due May 10, 2024.
Other Summer Programs
Students enrolled in colleges other than Landmark College can take summer courses at LC through our Summer Bridge Experience. We also offer other summer programs for:
- High school students
- Recent high school graduates
- Current college students
